Business program a great success

Congratulations to Pitt Community College, NC and Fox Valley Technical College, WI who collaborated on a short term trip for business and marketing students. Highlights of this particular trip were visits to the Donegal Craft Village, Letterkenny Institute of Technology, and the Investment department of Strabane-Derry Council. Pat Pollock, faculty leader from Fox Valley described the business visits as “excellent- I have many ideas to bring back to my school, possibly increasing partnerships but certainly working to increase the value of this program to all business students.” Pitt Faculty leader Katherine Clyde said “it is impossible to separate the business environment from the cultural, historical, political and economic aspects of a country. On this study abroad experience, the Institute of Study Abroad Ireland exposed my students to all of these concepts-and more! This is a life changing opportunity for my students.”
