If you are a scholar of Irish Studies, we want to let you know about the unique Drew University Transatlantic Connections Irish Studies Conference, which is hosted by the Institute of Study Abroad Ireland each January. The aim of the Transatlantic Conference is to enable conversations between interested Irish and Irish-American cultural scholars and enthusiasm, right on the edge of the Wild Atlantic Way, and immersed in the music, craic and buzz of small-town Ireland. This year the conference will open  in Dublin on January 10th with the Drew University Peace Award , and the panel presentations will be launched from January 13th-17th. There will be panels in Irish and Irish-American history, literature, music, creative writing, and also panels on Peace Studies, Medical Humanities, Irish Language, Popular Culture. The overall theme is Diaspora- Building Bridges, and submissions should be emailed with a short bio to drewtransatlantic@gmail.com   For further information, click here
